BOOK MY SHOW ACQUIRES TICKET GREEN

To strengthen its presence in south Indian market, entertainment ticketing portal BookMyShow.com has acquired Chennai-based Ticketgreen.com, which has partnership with over 100 cinemas in southern region.Post this acquisition, BookMyShow.com, a part of Mumbai- based Bigtree Entertainment, aims to strengthen its presence in the South Indian market, a company statement said.The company did not disclose financial details of the acquisition.Ticketgreen.com, a company of Ticketgreen Solutions, has partnership with over 100 cinemas and sells about one lakh tickets per month, the statement said. Recently, BookMyShow.com raised funds worth Rs 100 crore from global investors firm Accel Partners.
