NEW PORTAL FOR DOCTOR APPOINTMENTS

Hyderabad based Just In Nexus, an integrated e-solutions company, today launched a portal - Drappointment.in which provides information about doctors and offers an easy and quicker way of taking their appointments. The website, offering its services free of charge, presently enables its users to get access to any specialist in Hyderabad and also helps in finding out the credibility of the doctors, Just In Nexus founder and CEO Nikhil Deshneni told reporters. "This platform is going to help both patients as well as doctors. Over 500 doctors in seven different fields of medicine have registered with us," he said, adding that doctors who enrol with Drappointment.in will be charged a nominal fee for subscription to different packages, including on annual mode. The website acts like an advisor by displaying feedback and opinions of patients and guides the users to reach the doctors by locating clinics through GPS navigation. It also provides scheduled reminders to the users about the appointments fixed by SMS and email, he explained. For doctors, this platform allows to access the complete medical history of patients. It would streamline doctors' schedule and create an hassle-free administration work, he said. Besides availing the services through the online format, a user can also avail similar services by calling a toll free number--18001200108, which will act as a single virtual receptionist for taking appointment of any doctor, he said. Reacting to a query, Deshneni said they plan to spread the services into tier-II cities of Andhra Pradesh and also have plans to expand in cities like Bangalore, Chennai and Cochin in coming years.
